Other Outreach

Groups of First Parish members and friends participate in programs and fund-raisers:

  • Beverly Affordable Housing Coalition. We support the annual Polar Plunge on Super Bowl Sunday. In 2009 we held a community Sing-A-Long, the proceeds of which went to support housing programs.
  • The Beverly CAN! Committee. In May 2010, First Parish members constructed a scale model of our church building using almost 400 food cans. This sculpture was on public display. The cans were then donated to the Beverly Bootstraps Food Pantry.
  • River House. We donate clothing to shelter residents and members donate to help combat homelessness.
